The True Test of a TEAM

Players,

The true colors of a team will always shine through in times of adversity. We are to take last weeks loss as simply a loss to be learned from. The only person that is holding us back from establishing our rightful place among the high school champions of football is you. We must eliminate all mental mistakes by taking the extra steps outside of our practice times to ensure that we are the most accountable members of this team. Remember, the fall is always easier than the climb. Sometimes it takes a loss to spark a teams ultimate success. You are going to be faced with many obstacles in your life. It's up to you to make the decision as to how you are going to overcome these obstacles. If you make a mistake - learn from it - and make sure it never happens again. Let the positive achievements and failures of your past be the driving force behind our ultimate success in the future. We have come to far to let anything stop the high standards we have set for this football program at all levels. Let the unsettling loss of last week be a lesson not to be dwelled upon, but rather as a reminder that nothing in this life will ever be given to you. If you want to be the champions . . . you must earn it. Every practice, every rep, every down, every day. Every Player! Every Play! It's time to go to work.

Go Hawks!
